Conditions We Treat
If it involves muscles, joints, or nerves, start here — and if your case needs a different specialist, we'll tell you at the first visit.
Where Does It Hurt?
Neck pain, stiffness, and pain that radiates into the shoulders or arms often trace back to cervical joints that have stopped moving well — from posture, injury, or a crash. We combine gentle cervical adjustments with soft-tissue work and posture correction to address the cause, not just the symptom.
Many recurring headaches — especially tension-type and cervicogenic headaches — begin in the neck and upper back. If yours cluster at the base of the skull, behind the eyes, or after long desk days, a cervical exam is often the missing step. Many patients see meaningful relief within a few weeks of care.
Upper-back tightness, burning between the shoulder blades, and shoulder pain frequently come from a mix of joint restriction and overworked muscle — the classic desk-and-driving pattern we see across the Salinas Valley. Care usually pairs adjustments with targeted soft-tissue therapy.
Low back pain is the most common problem we treat — from lifting injuries and long shifts on your feet to herniated discs and sciatica. Depending on your exam, care may include adjustments, spinal decompression, and a short corrective-exercise plan to keep the relief.
Hip and pelvic pain often involves the sacroiliac joints — the two large joints connecting your spine to your pelvis — along with tight hip flexors and glutes. We assess the whole chain, since hip problems and low-back problems almost always travel together.
Knees usually hurt because of what's happening above and below them — hips, ankles, and movement habits. Our sports-rehab approach treats the painful knee and corrects the mechanics that overloaded it, whether you're a runner, a fieldworker, or on your feet all day.
Repetitive-strain problems — carpal tunnel symptoms, tennis elbow, wrist pain from packing, pruning, or keyboard work — respond well to a combination of joint work, soft-tissue therapy, and simple ergonomic changes. We also screen the neck, since nerve symptoms in the hand often start there.
Foot and ankle pain limits everything else you do. From plantar-fascia pain and old ankle sprains that never fully healed, our exam looks at the foot itself plus the way you stand and walk — then treats both with joint work, soft tissue, and strengthening.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does an adjustment hurt?
Most adjustments are painless and many patients feel immediate relief. You may hear a pop — that's just gas releasing from the joint, like cracking knuckles. If you're nervous, we start with gentler low-force techniques and explain every step first.
Do you take insurance?
We accept most major health plans, auto insurance med-pay for accident cases, and attorney liens. Our front desk verifies your coverage before your first visit so there are no surprises — and our cash prices are posted up front.
How many visits will I need?
It depends on your exam, and we'll tell you honestly. Simple cases may need only a handful of visits; disc programs run longer. Every care plan has a defined goal and re-check dates — we don't do open-ended 'come forever' plans.
Can you help me the same week?
Usually yes — we hold slots for new patients, especially after car accidents or acute injuries. Call (831) 555-0119 and we'll find the earliest opening.
Do I need a referral or X-rays first?
No referral needed. If your exam suggests imaging is necessary, we'll refer you to a local imaging center and review the results with you before recommending care.
